In this series you are going to discover that finding God’s will is more about preparing our hearts to listen than coaxing God to speak. By asking the right questions you will be able find and remain in His will.

Seeking to find God’s will for our lives is a universal and continual process in the life of a Christ-follower. This series will show you the right questions to ask as you seek His will. In part one we need to ask: “Is it commanded or forbidden in Scripture?” He also offers practical advice to put this question to use in your life.

Have I really prayed about it?
We have amazing access to God through prayer. With this question we look at the depth and sincerity of our request for God to reveal His will. This study is taken from Matthew 7:7-8

Will it help or hurt others?
Question Three is “Will it help or hurt others?” and is taken from 1 Cor. 10:23-23. Even though questions one and two are essential to the process of seeking God’s will we must think of others in the process

Ephesians 4:30; 5:17-18 is examined and discussed to help you learn how to ask the right question and how to position yourself to detect the Spirit’s leading.

Does it Reflect Well on Christ?
Does it Reflect Well on Christ? The final question takes us to 1 Cor. 10:31 and confronts us with the reality that we are to live for Jesus’ glory and not our own. You will learn that as we reflect on the status of our hearts we will be ready to listen to His voice.
